I was the violinist for a ceremony here. Staff were all kind and helpful. They are a popular spot for weddings- the property is beautiful, and I'm sure the rooms match everything else I've seen. I'd say check it out for a relaxing night or if you're looking for a wedding venue :)
The facility was beautifully cared for, our room was spacious and well-appointed, and every staff person we met was gracious and professional. We'd definitely stay again!

We had our wedding at the Colonial Hotel in July, and it was truly the best experience from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. With the pagoda outside for the ceremony and the amazing outdoor tent for the reception. We had family traveling who got the pleasure of staying at the hotel, as did me and my Husband, and everything was clean and comfortable. Access to the pool and hot tub, and their amazing restaurant and bar. The day of the wedding I was well taken care of, and didn’t have to worry about a single thing, everything was decorated and prepared perfectly, they took my visions and made them come to life! Both me and my husband got many updates on the day of the wedding, making sure we knew where we needed to be and what would be happening next, which helped tremendously! We couldn’t be anymore pleased, and we will forever recommend the Colonial Hotel! - Ally and Trent
Have been here several times for weddings! Great venue, super helpful staff (Mike was THE best at checking us in) clean and comfortable rooms too!
Our room was immaculate. The shower was fabulous. But the noise at night was a little bit too much. The door to our room had an inch space below it anyone walking by (we stayed near the pool) it was like having your door wide open. And the family that stayed above us wouldn't sit down and walked so heavy. We stayed there kid free and it felt like we had kids with us the entire time. Would I stay there again? Absolutely but please do something about soundproofing the doors.
Always enjoy my stays here. The staff is super friendly. Th place is kept immaculate. The restaurant is top notch. Only issue is they have limited outlets for plugging in all the devices I use when traveling for business.
Discovered this place by mistake...close to the highway, but quiet and isolated. Friendly staff, clean even if slightly older room. Great and reasonably priced restaurant on the bottom and clean pool and hot tub.
I photographed a wedding reception at The Colonial Hotel and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly organized — everything flowed perfectly from start to finish. The ballroom looked beautiful, the food was excellent, and the entire property offered great backdrops for photos. From a vendor’s perspective, it’s a dream when a venue runs so smoothly and treats everyone with professionalism and kindness. The couple and their guests had an amazing time, and it truly showed in every moment I captured. Highly recommend The Colonial Hotel for a gorgeous and well-run wedding celebration!
